Scene Description

I chose to blog this because I am really proud of it and I worked hard on it. Below the photo is the success criteria. Before we finished our writing we had to compare our writing with the success criteria. My writing goal is to use complex sentences more frequently and I have included an example of this in here.

Success Criteria
Has strong adjectives
Different sentence beginnings
Different sentence lengths
A simile and/or alliteration
Has an introduction, body and conclusion
Thoughtful word choices
Use complex sentences more frequently.

I turn around and in front of my eyes I see the most amazing scene. Soft golden spotted fur glows in the sunlight. Sienna brown trees in the background have been blurred out like a painting. The trees are coloured peru by of the sunset. Two stranded cheetahs lay in the dry dirty russet grass inspecting the land around them for prey. The cheetahs will wait for the innocent prey to be in sight; they will stay down low in the meantime.
Overall this scene is a great shot of the world's fastest living creature.
